Treatment Questions (7)

Q: What treatment plan is right for me?

Please see Ms. Ang’s treatment plans by following this link.

Q: How should I pay for the treatment?
You could pay by e-transfer, by cheque or cash. There is no credit card machine at this moment. This helps to keep the treatment fee affordable.

Q: What preparation is necessary prior to initial consultation and treatment?
Best preparation practices to get the most out of your treatment. Eat a healthy low carb/grain, low sugar, non dairy meal and all of sugar free diet 2.5 hours prior to consultation and treatment. Also make sure to drink plenty of lukewarm water at least 8 to 10 cups in a day. Have a warm shower and wear comfortable loose clothing. Eliminate facial make-up and perfume/deodorant. Long hair
should be worn tied up so as to facilitate ease at treatment.

Q: Should I call to make an appointment?
For all enquiries, please call on the landline: 250 385 7317 to make an appointment right away and might have to leave a voice message and I will return your phone call as soon as possible. Or you could also text or “whats app” on the cellphone: 250 885 8502 (text only) and I will reply to you as soon as I can from your text or voice message.
Initial call will consist of questions to ask to determine the preliminary course of treatment or just a massage. More in depth discussion will take place during the first assessment towards more lengthy detailed consultation for achieving top notch results and discounts!

Q: How do I cancel an appointment?
Please make a courtesy call 24 hours prior to treatment in order to cancel an appointment, also, to make a call of 3 hours prior to treatment in case of emergency. Please rebook for another date as soon as you cancel your
appointment. A cancellation fee will be charged for no-show appointment.

Q: What are the hours of operation?
Normal hours of operation are between 9:00 am. and 6:00 pm., Tuesday to Saturday but these hours are flexible for urgent cases and when it is difficult for the client to schedule during the normal operating hours. Ms. Ang’s treatment
studio is open 5 days a week and closed on public holidays.

Q: Can the treatment fees be deducted on an ICBC claim, workmen’s compensation claim or any MSP or health insurance plan?
Currently, the cost of treatment has already been claimed by some individual clients but it is not guaranteed to be claimable. For ICBC it is not 100% claimable but the clients would have to pay first and then make the claim. Tui Na deep tissue massage treatment is new to Canada and some of the health insurance companies for example: ICBC, Manu Life, Standard Life and Health Group are claimable successfully by some individual clients.
